On April 9, Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) faced off at Mullanpur Stadium in Mohali, Punjab. Shikhar Dhawan, the captain of PBKS, won the toss and chose to field first against SRH.
Abdul Samad and Nitish Reddy of the SRH had a strong innings against the Punjab Kings. Abdul Samad made a brilliant cameo of 25 in 12 balls, while Nitish Reddy scored 64 off 37 balls. On the other hand, Sikandar Raza (28 off 22 balls) and Sam Curran (29 off 22 balls) scored some solid runs.
With three wins, two losses, and six points after yesterday’s victory, SRH has surged to fifth position in the standings. With four points from two wins and three losses, PBKS is in sixth position.
