Following India’s exciting seven-run victory over South Africa to win the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup and snap an 11-year worldwide trophy drought, joy and celebration have taken over social media.
The team led by Rohit Sharma won the trophy at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, and MS Dhoni, who captained India to victory in the 2007 Men’s T20 World Cup in South Africa, praised them and even thanked them for a priceless birthday gift. On July 7, Dhoni will turn a year older.
