India vs South Africa, T20 World Cup 2024 Final Match Highlights:

India broke their 11-year ICC trophy drought and won the T20 World Cup for the second time in their history by defeating South Africa by 7 runs. Their bowlers, particularly Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh, were composed throughout.

In the first over of the chase for 176, South Africa was shaken as Bumrah dismissed Reeza Hendricks and Arshdeep removed Aiden Markram in the third over. They lost two wickets in rapid succession. At the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown in Barbados on Saturday, India’s team total of 176/7, which included 76 points from Virat Kohli, was the best in the history of the T20 World Cup final against South Africa. Shivam Dube outscored him with 27 runs in the last over.

Earlier, India lost three wickets in the powerplay when Keshav Maharaj took two wickets, including Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant, while Kagiso Rabada removed Suryakumar Yadav. Axar Patel appeared to be in fine form as he scored 47, but Quinton de Kock’s outstanding throw also caused him to fall.
