After batting first, the visiting team amassed the highest score in the history of the Indian Premier League (287/3 in 20 overs) thanks to centuries from Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen. But RCB put up a strong fight against an enormous task and scored 262/7 in return, so it wasn’t the only record that was broken. With 549 runs, the two teams’ total score was the highest in a Twenty20 match.
