IPL2024: Despite having master magician Jasprit Bumrah in their ranks, many were taken aback when captain Hardik Pandya bowled the opening over for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League 2024.
Speaking to Cricbuzz, Indian player Mohammed Shami expressed his surprise that Bumrah was not selected. Hardik may have decided to bowl the first over because, as Shami surmised, he enjoys bowling with the new ball.
