In their IPL match here on Sunday, the Delhi Capitals defeated the Chennai Super Kings by a convincing 20 runs, thanks to a well-constructed 52 by David Warner and a much-needed fifty from Rishabh Pant. The Chennai Super Kings were led by veteran MS Dhoni, but his century-long knock fell short of the mark. Ajinkya Rahane (45), Dhoni (37 not out), and Daryl Mitchell (34) attempted to cut into the formidable 192-run target set for the Super Kings, but the Capitals had far too many weapons for them that evening. In the end, CSK was 171 for six.
