Complete list of match referees and umpires at the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup
20 umpires in all, together with six match referees, will officiate the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup.
The first round of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies will have 26 match officials, as stated by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The largest ICC T20 World Cup ever will include 20 teams playing 55 matches over 28 days across nine locales, officiated by 20 umpires and 6 match referees. This is the ninth edition of the competition.
Along with Richard Illingworth, who won the David Shepherd Trophy for ICC Umpire of the Year at the annual ICC Awards in 2023, the group of experienced umpires also includes Kumar Dharmasena, Chris Gaffaney, and Paul Reiffel, who were selected to officiate the 2022 edition final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
Jayaraman Madanagopal, Sam Nogajski, Allahudien Paleker, Rashid Riaz, and Asif Yaqoob are all eager to compete in their senior men’s events for the first time.
The match referees’ crew welcomes back Ranjan Madugalle, who officiated the 2022 Final. Additionally, there’s Andrew Pycroft, who is one match away from 150 T20Is, and Jeff Crowe, who has officiated 175 T20Is, the most capped referees in the format.
