1. Abhishek Sharma:
Abhishek Sharma, the opener for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), currently has the highest strike rate in the present IPL 2024. With the second-highest number of sixes (27), he has amassed 303 runs in nine innings with an amazing strike rate of 214.89 and an average of 33.66. He was unable, however, to break into the Indian team for the ICC T20 World Cup in 2024, despite his stats.
2. Riyan Parag:
In the IPL 2024, Riyan Parag has let his bat do the talking after faltering in the previous IPL seasons. He has contributed to RR’s success by scoring runs in practically every game. With three half-centuries this season, Parag has scored 332 runs in 8 innings at an average of 55.33 and a strike rate of 159.61. The selectors will undoubtedly have him in mind following the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup.
3. Sai Sudharsan:
During the South African trip, Sai Sudharsan made his ODI debut and got off to two consecutive half-centuries. He continued to play well in the IPL 2024 and is one of the leading run scorers so far this year. With a strike rate of 135.71 and an average of 46.44, Sudharsan has amassed 418 runs in 10 innings. It was a shame he missed the squad.
4. Mayank Yadav:
Mayank Yadav of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) was an uncapped sensation who captured the eye of the world after winning Man of the Match awards in his first two IPL games. In just two games, he claimed six wickets at an economy rate of almost six. Mayank routinely bowled at over 150 mph and once reached 157 mph, the IPL 2024 record for the fastest ball. He did, however, sustain an injury that kept him out of some games.
He has finally been deemed fit, nevertheless. However, in spite of this, he was not selected for the India team for the 2024 T20 World Cup, which surprised some supporters and critics. However, he is undoubtedly an asset for India in the future.
