India vs. England T20 World Cup 2024 semifinal: weather and pitch report

India, led by Rohit Sharma, will attempt to accomplish something on June 27 that the Men in Blue have not done in the previous ten years: qualify for the T20 World Cup final. The last time India appeared in the final was in 2014. Sri Lanka, led by Lasith Malinga, won the title that year.

IND vs ENG Semi Final: Weather and pitch report

The IND versus ENG match will take place at The Providence Stadium, commonly known as Guyana National Stadium, in Guyana. Spin is usually very important at this arena. It’s the same stadium where New Zealand was bowled out for 75 against Afghanistan. Medium pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi and leg-spinner Rashid Khan both got four wickets, while off-spinner Mohammad Nabi claimed two.

A few showers are forecast earlier in the day. AccuWeather predicts 25% rain during the match and 95% cloud cover. The temperature will be approximately 30 degrees, with a high humidity of 86%.

If the match is washed out, India will advance to the final because they finished first in their group after Super 8, and there is no reserve day. Rain is unlikely to have an impact on the contest, though.
