In the opening match of the IPL 2024 season in Chennai, star batsman Virat Kohli of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru achieved a noteworthy milestone on Friday by reaching 1,000 runs against the Chennai Super Kings.
At a strike rate of 105, Kohli scored 21 runs off 20 balls, including a six, despite having a relatively quiet innings with the bat.
