Australian spinner Brad Hogg, a seasoned player, praised the young batsman Riyan Parag, pointing out that he has matured this season. After playing for the Royals since 2019, Parag finally began to show promise with the bat in the IPL 2024, amassing 185 runs at an incredible average of 92.50 in 4 games. With the bat, he is already enjoying his best IPL season yet; his best came in 2022, when he amassed 183 runs in 17 games.
Because Parag has been batting at the important number four spot, which has been advantageous for him, the team management has also increased Parag’s role in the lineup.
